Re: low too high blood pressure in a few minutes

I had the same conditions. My heart would nearly flatline for a few seconds, I would pass out, and when I came back, my heart would skyrocket. This would also cause some severe headaches which made the doctors concerned about a possible stroke. To prevent this from happening, I had a pacemaker implanted about five years ago. I am now 31 and have not passed out since the surgery. Although I still suffer from the siezures, the doctors have regulated the pacemaker to the point that my heart rate stays pretty normal. If your doctors have talked about a pacemaker for you, I strongly suggest that you consider it. For years I have hid my condition from everyone - my parents, wife, and children. I tried to live an active life, but the condition kept getting worse. I even tried to lie to myself, but after getting the sever headaches, I knew that it was time to get this thing checked out. If you are anywhere on the East Coast, I suggest you try contacting Dr. Francis Marchlinski at the University of Philadelphia Hospital. I do believe that he was ranked #1 in the country for this type of conditiion not too long ago.
