yes, it does get better. I have been diagnosed with vaso depressor syncope, after years of frustration with my doctor. I finally saw a cardiologist and had 3 tilt table tests. I have been on medicine for 2 years now. I feel like I pretty much have my life back. My first tilt table test was very violent and my doctor put me on a medicine. I was still having attacks, but felt much better. My second tilt table test was not as violent and he doubled my medicine. the third tilt table test went fine. But, I still have episodes. Mostly I have shaking and jerking and diziness and blurred vision. But I feel soooo much better on the medicine. I know that I need to lie down when I feel an episode coming on. Sometimes I am extremely tired before an episode that I know it is coming. They seem to come for no appartent reason. the only trigger that I have found is lack of sleep.
