Migranes and fainting

My 15 year old neighbor has been suffering with migrane headaches for the past few years so accompanied by fainting. Recently the number of migrane/fainting episodes have increased to 6 times in the pass 2 weeks. After fainting it is now taking about 11-15 minutes for her to wake up. At first, it appeared that when she had a migrane and then particpated in athletics, fainting would come soon after, she would wake up within a minute or two. Last week she was just sitting in her classroom with a migrane, left to get a tylenol 3 from the nurse and fainted in the hall on her way. These are controlling her life and she is becoming very discouraged. She is going in for her second E.E.G. next week, the neurologist is looking to see if she is having small strokes. The last E.E.G. done 6 months ago showed an "artifact" that he was not concerned about. If anyone has any experience with these same symptoms or has any information, I would pass it on to her mom who also suffers from migranes without the fainting. Thank you!
