Vaso Vagal

The abstracts are way too complicated for me!! I have had two fainting spells, once at work and once at home. Both times I was seated, and felt a tightenting, tingling sensation in my chest before blacking out. The second time, I knew what was about to happen, but could not prevent it. I had disk surgery a few years ago, and still have tightness and pain in the cervical area. Could something be restricting blood flow in the cervical region? Please help.
