Vaso-vagal

I have an 18 year old son who has this condition. It passes out at the discussion of bloody/gory things. He can look at blood on movies/tv, etc. no problem. But when it is discussed, he hits the floor. He has started a motorsports technology class at our local technical college and it happened last night (first night of class) when teacher was going over safety and telling of grisly accidents. The teacher told him after the class he needs to re-think his career choice.....he is devestated...this is his dream. Any suggestions on help> My heart aches for my son...
