On three different occasions in the dentist office after receiving litocaine I had a terrible reaction. Within minutes after receiving the injection I immediately became very dizzy, my heart would race, and I would begin vomiting. This lasted for about two hours every time. I went to an allergy Doctor and he said that what I had was a vagal reaction. Growing up I never had a problem going to the dentist. I am now in my 30's and wonder why this would affect me now.
