I am a lady of 70 yrs old, recently released from the hospital with Vaso Vagal nerve syndrome.I have a pace maker ,reason ,too slow heart beat,I also have weak heart muscle and the lower part of the heart is not a team player with the top of the heart. I had very bad angina ,or so I thoughtI took a nitro Nitro and became extemely ill.I ended up admitted to the hospital ,my diaphram went int spasams and extreme pain shot down my arms and up into my throat,I felt like I had swallowed a golf ball and it got stuck in the esophagus.I thought that I would choke.I had exray of the abdomen and chest, they found that on the exray the muscles in the esophagus were extremely weakand ,the food was just sitting there.I was about to be sent home and went into the rest room,I became extremely ill and fainted,at this point the nursing staff thought I was coding becauase all my vitals fell.I came home with colitus and ver painfull chest and back.I never want to have this eperience again.I also am ischemic and have had a coule of Tia's .I asked the doctor what I could do to keep from repeating this type of episode,he had no answer. In years past I had similar episodes but not as acute.Do you have any sugetions Thankyou.Joan Hall.
