i have been passing out since age 14. I am now 27. Around the age of 23 my attacks became more severe. I tend to wake up in the middle of the night. I get a strange feeling and then pass out while laying down. I never even get up it happens while lying down. When I come to I am sick to my stomach. I need to have a bm and I also throw up. This can last for several hours. The only thing that makes me feel better is to sleep it off. I feel strange for a few days afterwards,too. I have had a tilt table test and it was neg. i was on proamatine and that didn't work. I am now on florinef for about 2 years and have had only one episode. and about three false alarms. I would like to hear from others with vv.
