Well, went back in yesterday to have the surgery that was postponed by the VV episode... after telling the pre-op nurse why it happened last week (same nurse, btw), she laid me back, kept me talking and I never even knew that she had inserted the IV... they rolled me into surgery at 11:50am, and next thing I knew it was 3pm and I was in recovery... no problems at all this time.

treatment and diagnosis is the only acceptable initial response to these serious symptoms
since they might present from any number of life threatening and treatable illnesses. It
