Severe Vomiting/Abdominal Pain

My husband has suffered several years w/severe episodes of N/V, diarrhea, abdominal pain, profuse sweating. He will not stop vomiting until he is medicated w/demerol and phenergan. The episodes are the same each time. He has been checked out from head to toe. His doctor can not give us a diagnosis. Does anyone have any simular experience?
