Hi, I am also 29. I was only diagnosed with VVS two years ago, but have had episodes for about the last 10. I feel totally fine right now- about 4 months pregnant. I miscarried at 6 weeks about 2 months prior to this pregnancy. So far, everything has been fine. Because I know that injections or anything with large needles cause me to seize up, I am not going to have an amniocentisis, even if they recommend it. Since it is not preventative, I am going to forego that test. Any test that involves mere bloodwork or sonograms have been no problem. I don't have problems giving blood or getting IV's. I get woozy, but I put my legs up in the air and I drink lots of fluids prior to the tests so it seems to prevent my passing out and seizing. I do not know what to expect of the delivery process. I am looking into it at the present and will keep you posted!! Good luck- you should definitely go ahead and start a family. As far as I've heard, VVS can be controlled and we can expect a healthy and safe delivery. Take care, Tara
