Husband with vaso vagal

My husband once had what was called a vv reaction on an airplane after reading a disturbing article in a newspaper. He got up to go be sick and fell face down in the aisle, forcing an emergency landing of the plane.

Today, he was napping & I woke him up to get help with our 3 yr old and the next thing I knew I heard a crash in the bathroom. I went in to find him on his knees with his head next to the toilet, I called his name and he did not immediately respond to me. Then he turned to me and said, "where am I?"

We have been arguing a lot and I have been asking him for a lot of emotional support. We are undergoing infertility treatments and are dealing with a lot of stuff both emotional and financial. Can vv be related to emotional stress?
