I have fainted ever since I was a small child. As I got into my early twenties I appeared to be passing out more frequently. After being tested for diabeties and epilepsy, I was given a tilt table test and diagnosed with malignant vasovagal syndrome at the age of 26. The results of the tilt table test proved that every time I was passing out my heart was stopping. I was taken into hospital within a week of diagnosis and fitted with a pacemaker. My condition has been undercontrol ever since.
