I'm a 43 year old man...and believe I've just had my 1st episode. Awoke from a sound sleep with my 50# 9 yr old daughter on my chest...quickly arose and brought her upstairs to put into her own bed to sleep...went back downstairs and felt a quick heart flutter for short duration of time. Immediately overcome with nausea, dizziness & heat. Thought I was going to get ill so went over to sink...next thing I knew I was on the floor and looking upward. I believe it was for a short amount of time and think I blacked out due to pain in knees when I awoke. Very scary...I consider myself in good shape, not overweight, eat ok but concerned if this may happen again. Don't know whether to contact physician or keep a close eye on. Any suggestions out there?
