I became very sick with a diseased gall bladder. The resulting pancretitis caused my vital functions to shut down. within a month of my gall bladder removal I suffered severe pain in my stomack at the base of the breastbone.I became nautious, clamy and sweated profusely. I was given an ekg and transported to the emergency room. By the time the attending physician got the test results, the episode completely dissapeared. Ever since I now get these episodes. This last time I was hospitalized and all tests, including tilt table test, showed only a lowered blood flow down the center of my heart. The tilt table test showed I do not have the classic vaso-vagal syndrome. Can extreme pain and fatigue caus this condition?
