I have exactly the same problem as you. I've also passed out in every single blood test I've ever taken, and I've also passed outat the mere idea of a needle.... Yesterday I had to get my finger pricked for blood and I passed out for several minutes.

After so many years of thinking that I am a bit of a freak, I too am relieved to have found this website, and know that I am not alone!

Perhaps we are not typical, but we are certainly not abnormal either.

I think it is possible to deal with our problem by sedating ourselves as much as possible before we go to the doctor, and in the event of needing medical attention, it is better to do it lying down and under as much anaesthesia as is allowed!
