Vaso -Vagal and Pituitary Adenoma

My 20 year old daughter has been fainting since June of 2003. She was diagnosed with vaso-vagal syncope in September of that year. Her condition continued to become more frequent with less stimulas necessary to trigger her response even though she was taking varios medications prescribed by her cardiologist. She was diagnosed in August of 2004 with a tumor on her Pituitary gland after her neurologist ordered an MRI with contrast on her brain. The doctors cannot say for sure if this is causing her to faint but it needs to come out anyway. Has anyone else had syncope as a side effect from a pituitary adenoma? Did surgery help?
