When I was a teenager I had the kind of cramps that were the knock me down kind, and when I was in my early twenties I had a D&C because I couldn't stop bleeding (I was not pregnant) and later had a hysterectomy when I was 40 because of a fibrous tumor. I have a history of having severe pain, but passing out or close to passing out were not associated with the pain until much later on in my life, but it doesn make you wonder about possible connections.
