Hi Kathy, Welcome. Yes I take Effexor too. it has been helpful for the past year. It has an anxiety component..don't understand how it works, only know that it does. I was put on a betta blocker this year after my symptoms returned. Its still early, but I'm very hopeful that between the two meds, I can begin to feel less like a time bomb and more like a person again.
