I recently had my first 'unprovoked' VV attack, and I had seizures following loss of conciousness. initially I was diagnosed with epilepsy, then further tests resulted in the VV syncope diagnosis. I have been further advised to get a pacemaker fitted so that a VV attack cannot result in a faint. I too have been able to 'fight off' some attacks by recognising the precursors and resisting them but not all the time...
