My BP doesn't always drop. But I have noticed via a digital BP monitor that if the BP goes up the heart rate may go with it or drop slightly. The first time the ER doctors measured my BP & HR laying down, sitting and then standing, when standing the BP & Heart went real high. I can't remember the BP but my heart rate went to 165.
