Vaso Vagal

From: Sherry Biederman

I am a 60 year old white female with normal health except for being somewhat overweight. My mother experienced "vaso vagal" symptoms several times during her life. I have had vaso vagal experiences at least five or six times. I knew each time that they were coming on and either sat down or reclined--on the floor if necessary. I would start feeling very warm, perspire, and most times feel the need to go to the bathroom. I never have had nausea. Each time I have felt exhausted after the experience and just want to sleep for a short while. Within an hour, I am ok. Many of the times, the symptoms occur while dining or just after. I just had another "spell" and am going to my doctor to try to pursue it further. My daughter who is 30 has felt a similar condition without fainting so far. Would love to be contacted about any recent information that you may have. Thank you.
