Hello, Rick! I am 31 and have had VV for 23 years although only recently diagnosed. It sounds like it could be VV. You need to go to a cardioligist and take all of the tests. (Heart monitor, echo cardiogram, Stress Test,Tilt Table test...) Most of us take medication (beta blocker) to hopefully prevent or lessen the attacks. I have only been on the medication for a month. After 12 months, I'll feel better about recommending it to someone because to be honest, the medication makes me feel like dirt. Other things you can do if you have VV are eat lots and lots of salt! Drink Gatorade (or anything with electrolytes), do NOT let yourself get dehydrated, don't smoke and don't drink alcohol. Pretty boring, huh? I also cut out caffeine...

GO TO YOUR DOCTOR AND TAKE ALL OF THESE TESTS!

Good Luck, Rick! Carmen
