We have to live with Vaso Vagal...never knowing when to expect it again?

I thought that Vaso Vagal was always associated with pain...but what I read here is different. I am nervous because I have fainted 4 times from what doctors tell me is vaso vagal, but I only faint after extreme pain in my stomach before I have to have a bowel movement and the pain is too much to bear. I feel something strange come over me, lose my hearing, and seem to take one last breath before I pass out. I am nerveous that I may have a blockage or something...has this ever happened to anyone with the bowels involved. I am nervous everyday (especially driving) afraid it is going to happen again. This has happened to me 4 times in 5 years...Is Vaso Vagal something we all have to live with...never knowing when to expect it...what can we do to avoid it? Has anyone ever been diagnosed with anything serious from this?
