I just started reading this forum after having my second episode of Vagal. I had no idea this was such a common type of problem, but it seems mostly among women. Curious? My sister-in-law (who has been a nurse for 20 yrs) seems to think that it is also a hormonal problem. I was most shocked when I read that the two scenarios in which I experienced this problem was described in detail by others. The nighttime bathroom visit and donating blood as you described. I have not sought any professional help yet, because I wanted to see what others were saying about it. Besides, I have very little confindence in the current medical state of affairs in this country. Seems they just want to push meds on you so you will go away. Thank you so much for posting your letter. I hope we can all find something that will either explain this syndrome better and/or find something that will help us deal with it. Another thing..... I had not even thought about driving with this problem. Now THAT scares me!
