Hysterectomies..is there a link?

Thanks to those of you who took time to respond to my concerns/questions. I am interested in how many of us have had hysterectomies? I does look like hormones are playing a role, doesn't it? Either the lack of or the over-production of! I do not read many comments from men. Is this a female malady?
