It's interesting that you mentioned about your hysterectomy. My VV symptoms started about 7 months ago when I started experiencing peri-menopause symptoms. I really believe that there can be a hormonal link sometimes. Have you tried keeping track of when your episodes occurred? I also was eating a lot of soy which is a natural estrogen producer and when I stopped the soy my VV episodes stopped during the past month or so. The one thing I can say to you is that you are not alone and I'm glad you found this message board. It has also helped me immensely to know exactly what was happening to me. I just had to do a little detective work on my own. I kept track of when they were occurring to see if there was a pattern, I kept track of what I ate when they occurred, what my stress level was, etc. Listen to your body very closely and it will lead you to an answer.
