I had three children via c-section they fill you up with meds and don't feel a thing and if you did the excitment I think will help you stay awake to enjoy the beautiful event. I was told that VV is the body responding to the "flight or fight" respones in an incorrect manner. For me I get so relaxed I faint when I hit stressors. Not sure if this helps any I imagine more and more research will be done on this topic and when you get ready to have children you'll have good tips and suggestions to get through it.
