My first VV incident occured in my teens when faiting from the needle being pulled out of my arm after donating blood. Until this year that was the only time I fainted - seemed normal to me at the time. I had a tramatic year and since Dec 03 I have been fainting at least 2 xs a month. I am now afraid to drive with my children in the car. Last week I just cried as I sat in my drive way b/c I felt "off" and I knew I shouldn't leave incase I hurt myself or anyone else. Everyone in my family is pinning the VV responses on having triplets and the stresses that come with them. Dr. said to reduce the stress in my life and increase salt and water in my diet and to take a hormone that helps me retain salt. I have been on heart monitors and nothing is picked up I don't have a full blown faiting spells while I have them on...go figure.
