Vaso-Vagal Syncope

From: Donna Cummings

Comments

My son was recently disgnosed with VV Syncope. He has clusters of fainting spells that last from 1 fainting spell in less than 1 minute, to over 30 fainting spells that last for over an hour. As a result, I can't get him back to school (he is in the 7th grade). He has increased drinking water and gatorade and also we've added more salt to his diet but he still has the fainting spells. What do you do to get through these spells and go on with a normal life? I can't send him to school and have him faint but he really wants to get back to a normal life. My email address is doerman@fuse.net if anyone wants to contact me. Thanks.
