In response to the episodes in restaurants-
I have had many full blown VV episodes resulting in black-outs often after a glass of wine & waiting for the 2nd course of the meal. I believe it is a combination of : stress, alcohol ( does restrict your blood vessels), perhaps dehydration- Personally, I have also hyperventilated- and needed to 'flee' the situation. Excessive caffeine is not good-
mediatation, excersize and a very healthy diet have made all the difference for me. Also no alcohol when dining out.
