hi! i have spent the last 19 years with transient episodes of "fainting" during pelvic exams and especially bad menstrual cramps.i am currently 30 years old and 5 months pregnant with my first child.i am an lpn with 10 years of practice and have never seen, heard, or read of anyone else with my symptomology.i have spent months searching the internet fruitlessly for research and birth stories from women who have delivered babies who had a history of vv with no success.my ob gyn referred me to neurology who confirmed it is in fact vv...i had not sought treatment for this (i already knew none exists) until the issue of how vv may effect delivery and fetal circulation arose.my md's are not sure what is the safest delivery option and neither am i. if anyone in this forum could share their experience i would be very grateful. also, i plan to report my own l&d experience in july (hopefully not before)so if anyone in the future may possilbly benefit. p.s. vv is in fact a physical disorder!
