Thought I had a heart attack

Two nights ago I woke up with shooting pain in my upper right arm. I sat up and, almost immediately, felt light-headed and nauseous. Fortunately, I laid back down and the feelings passed. The next day my right arm and right leg felt a little weak and very tired (tired today as well). Thinking it was a heart attack I went to the doctor and he said I had a vaso vagal episode but just dismissed it like it was no big deal. After reading many of the responses here I'm concerned this episode might be followed by more with increasing intensity. I am 32 years old and can only recall 2 major episodes like this in the past
