Vaso-vagel diagnosis

I should start by saying I am a 53 year old women in excellent health. On Saturday I was shopping when, in a matter of minutes, I had abdominal pain followed by a fainting episode. This was the fourth time this has happened to me. But this time it happened in public and I was rushed to the hospital in an ambulance. By that time I was revived, and after waiting for blood and urine tests I was sent home and told to visit my doctor. So today I explained the scary symptoms to my doctor -- who immediately said "Oh, you just had a vaso-vagel event - no big deal!!!" Well, it's been a frightening big deal to me! I live alone, and once I crashed to my kitchen floor and "came to" when I felt my head slam into my ceramic tile floor! What do I do now -- get a Medic Alert bracelet that says prop her up in a corner and she'll be fine?
