Vaso-vagal response to pain

From:

Comments

My 8 year old daughter hit her knee the other day quite hard. She then had what looked like a very short seizure; however, her doctor has suggested that it was probably a vaso-vagal response and that it is fairly common when one injurs their knee or elbow (funnybone). Has anyone else had this experience or heard of someone experiencing this vaso-vagal response after hitting an elbow or knee??? (She was diagnosed with Leukemia in May, 2001 and completed her chemotherapy in Dec. 2003)
