Re: Vaso-Vegal and Surgery

Hi Pat - I recently underwent breast reduction surgery and while recovering experienced three or more "spells" with the last being the most violent - described to include some seizure activity. I am six days post op and continue to feel naucious and tire easily. I will be making contact with my regular doctor in the days to follow - be sure to get your daughter's doctor's attention before going into surgery. Additional time in recovery will likely be required - lots of rest and no getting up quickly or without supervision. By the way - I was a fainter as a child and adolescent but since surgery - its more pronounced now. Good luck.
