I started having fainting spells when I was four and it was misdiagnosed to having epilepsy, because I had a small scratch on my brain. But my experiences were the same fainting and vomiting and only when I was ill. They went away at about the age of nine...I am now 30 and they returned three years ago. I have had 10 spells since they started up and the only thing that cures them is a couple of bags of Sodium Chloride in an I.V. at the E.R....My last one was on December 18, 2003 and they only gave me one bag of Sodium Chloride and the recovery period was much longer.

I hope this helps!
