theres not much i can say to you about it because although i am employed by a large retail company my dad is my immediate boss so he is really understanding! however i have found that all my olleagues have been great and been asking questions so they know what to do if my dad isnt there. on the shop floor it is something i can deal with (although the people at head office might not be so keen if they knew!)still in the end it is an illness and providing you are honest with them and that by doing a job you do not put yourself or other people in possible danger because of your VV then i cant see how they can discriminate. i dont know where you live but in England a company would risk claims on equal rights grounds for refusing you a job that you are capable of.

This web site is not a substitute for a thorough medical evaluation and diagnosis of your vaso-vagal type symptoms.  Medical treatment and diagnosis is the only acceptable initial response to these serious symptoms since they might present from any number of life threatening and treatable illnesses. It is for you and your physician to rule out more serious illnesses; Please don't use this online forum as an alternative to getting responsible medical attention and being under the care of a physician for the duration of any unknown, suspected or dangerous vaso-vagal syndrome symptoms.
