It sounds like yours and mine are basically the same- I was told by a Doctor that these episodes are just like when you are lying down, and then you get up quickly, and you get dizzt. The syncope is just the next stage, because when you do not have enough blood flowing to your brain, the heart will take the blood, and the head will respond by saying "Wait- not enough blood flow here- let's just shut down for a minute or 2- then start 'er up again- that's why you pas out. The "dreamlike" flashes are probably because the lack of blood flow to the brain causes electrical stimuli to short- circuit, thus making you head spin, because you can't focus because your brain isn't getting the blood flow to think straight. The important thing everyone neds to know is what causes these fainting episodes- it looks like evryone has different causes- my opinion is that dehydration is the biggest cause.
