Re: VV or Something Else?

Hi Tony If chest pain and shortness of breath are the primary symptoms, with no autonomic symptoms (nausea, dizzyness, cold sweat, fainting) I don't think that VV is your problem. You sound like you were in pretty horrible shape/health before so it really could have been anything and even though you've changed your situation, there still may be remnants of the whatever the problem is still lingering. By the way, congratulations on turning things around so much! That couldn't have been easy! You certainly just saved you own life. What ever it is, I hope it goes away now that you've lost the weight and stopped drinking, but if it doesnt, keep pestering your doctor to look further. Also, keep doing what you're doing now - get on the internet and do as much research as you can yourself. There are many other health related forums where you can post questions, which can be very helpful. Good luck Maggie
