FAinting episode while resisting a bowel movement

Just wondering if anyone has ever passed out or come close to it while holding in a bowel movement. This is what has happened to me on two occasions for sure. This last time I actually passed right out and I feel it was because I was trying to be polite until my company left and then go for a bowel movement. The pain or pressure/cramping made me feel light headed and in the end I found myself on the floor. I am a paramedic and am familiar with vasovagal episodes while people are bearing down to have a BM but can the reverse take place as well. I'm sure I had very low BP and was bradycardic for approx 1/2 hour after the episode. Any thoughts?? I know it sounds very strange!
