I also started experiencing severe symptoms suddenly. I was told repeatedly that they were all in my head or panic attacks. I actually had one doctor tell me I must have been sexually abused as a child and I was reliving it!!! Can you imagine. Anyway, 7 months later was finally given a diagnosis of vaso-vagal syncope and am working with doctors on controlling it. I drink a liter of water every time I feel an "episode" coming on. I used to have these seizures that you mention your daughter has, but they went away after I went on SSRI treatment. The VV was not cured by SSRI, but was not as severe. I have learned over the past horrible 7 months that you have to push your doctor to do more testing and trust your instincts. I finally got the tilt table test after 6 months and it showed my blood pressure dropped to 11/42 and my heart rate was in the 30's. So much for the sexual abuse theory!
Good luck to you and your daughter. Please let me know if you need to talk more about this.
