Dani, I have had the same problem while eating, except I get severe pain in my chest, like my esophagus is having a spazam. I passed out for the first time while driving and eating. My Dr. is doing every test there is. I had a EGD test by a GI Dr. I was diagosed with a Hiatal Hernia and gastritis, with a Schatski Ring due to acid reflux. I had no idea I had acid reflux, anyway the GI Dr. thinks I had a V/V response due to the pressure of the spazam in my esophagus. I have the perscription of Pepcid 40 mg twice daily ( for ever) I hope this helps. Julie B.
