My heart stops from 2-3 seconds when I faint. I know this from my tilt table test results. I have been very successful in keeping my fainting to a minimum with salt intake and keeping my fluids up. I have tried a couple different medication but they never completely stopped the faints. It's a very scary thing but it can be manageable. Hang in there- Sara
