Re: VAGAL SYNDROME - is it genetic?

My cardiologist says it is genetic, BUT that the problem manifests itself differently for different people. While I lose consciousness completely, my mother feels numbness in her feet, and my grandmother had a "fluttering" heart; her blood pressure would drop and her heart felt like it would beat right out of her chest. Her sister (my great aunt) had vaso vagel syncope, and would experience the total blackouts that I do. My brother has never had a problem.

treatment and diagnosis is the only acceptable initial response to these serious symptoms
since they might present from any number of life threatening and treatable illnesses. It
is for you and your physician to rule out more serious illnesses; Please don't use this
