Heart Palpitations after Eating

Has anyone experienced heart palpitations a few minutes after eating (or if you have gas in the upper intestinal track)? I have a feeling it's vaso-vagal related, but doctors tell me not to worry about it. Not sure if I believe them. I was also on Celexa a couple of years ago for panic disorder, and it seemed to help.
