Hi Virgil, I have been reading all the comments from those with syncope and finally I see you have the same sympton as I do!!! It starts with the symptoms of a dream like state! That is exactly what I have had! It is almost like an auroa or a dejavu sometimes. I startd having these episodes when I was 30 and am now 54 but haven't had one in about 3 years. My husband has been with me many of the times and says that I get very rigid (i have enough warning to lie down when I know it is coming on) and my eyes roll back in my head and after I come to which is like struggling to wake up from a weird oppressive dream I feel week most of the day and usually right after feel slightly nauseated and have the urge to "go the to bathroom" if you get my drift. I have never know anyone my whole life with this condition so it was nice to find this site. I do have a mild heart murmer which I have heard is common in some people with this condition. All other tests I have had, EKG's EEG, Echo cardiograms, Holter monitor, MRI found nothing. Good luck. I do take Klonopin for anxiety which I developed as a result of this (go figure!) and Celexa. Good luck! If you want you can e-mail me at pam@austinadgroup.com.
