vasovagal syncope

From: Brenda Dunn

Comments

I was having gallbladder surgery and my heart stopped. My surgeon said it was due to a vasovagal reaction which I had experienced for the past 20 years . I didn't realize that it would actually cause me to "flatline" during surgery. My primary care provider had always made it sound like a minor problem and nothing to really be concerned about. I am afraid it will happen again and am asking to be referred to a cardiologist. Please let me know any information that you think may be helpful to me.
