I find your story interesting. I am a 25 yr. old female and have experienced fainting since childhood.....always related to seeing my own or others blood and especially during blood tests and shots. I have had too many episodes to count....the scarriest being when I was alone and stepped in shattered glass. I woke up and didn't know what happened to me and had to call a friend because I couldn't bring myself to look at the shards of glass in my feet. I fainted a couple of days ago at work when given the flu shot. And recently went to a knew doctor for a sinus infection and didn't realize I would have a finger prick. They didn't take me seriously and I fainted twice. I haven't seen a doctor for treatment but I get scared worrying about how I will handle really bad situations where someone might need my help. My question for you....are you a parent? I really worry about how I will handle taking care of a child and even going through a pregnancy and delivery with such a history of passing out. Thanks.
