Hi all
Just stumbled across this site doing a search on VV. I was told about 15 yrs ago that my symptoms are that of IBS and VV attacks.I have so many sympyoms though that I find it hard to believe it's JUST IBS - I find it so daunting going to the doctor and trying to go through the list of symptoms. One time I typed them all up and gave the list to my doc, who then appeared to completely switch off! I have suffered loads of symptoms for 14 yrs, since the age of 17. I feel like I am having a menopause with all the hot flushes. I have absolutely no energy, am constantly tired, have constant lower back pain on my left side, I get both C and D IBS, severe stomach pains at times. Sometimes I go to the bathroom, get severe stomach pains, break into a really horrible sweat, then I get the runs very badly. Once this has all finished I am lucky if I make it out of the bathroom with out passing out! The last time this happened I split my chin open. I didn't even realise I had been injured when I came round until my partner showed me my blood! I haven't been to work for over a year because my symptoms are pretty much constant. I have just changed doctors and am going to enrol with the nurse today, then I get to make an appointment with a doctor. I just hope they can offer my some kind of treatment that will actually work! Or even a proper diagnosis!
